PackPad 1.0

I AM REALLY EXCITED!

A college friend of mine has started making painted sketchbooks which look really cool.  I had made a comment about how I always wanted a sketchbook backpack for easy travel.  One with pockets and such.  Well folks, SHE MADE ONE!  CHECK IT OUT!!!
FRONT
 BACK
 All OPEN
And if you happen to not want all them flimsy flaps flappin',  THEN YOU CAN TIE THEM ALL UP!
 SO AWESOME!

So all y'all should go check out this and all her other stuff!  THANKS REI!

First Mask

The beginnings of my first mask.  The sculpting was done fairly fast so the features aren't exactly how I'd like them, but it's all just a first run. Novice Mode Commenced!!!

First, general form.

Defined features

Plaster poured over the clay to make the mold.
 Clay removed.
I need a lot of practice for this.  The plaster is probably going to be the hardest part because it sets so dang fast.  I have a lot of air bubbles on the inside surface of the mold.  Yup, need a lot more practice before I pour plaster directly on a human face.  BUT I STARTED!  I'm so excited for the next phase, which will be in about a week, after the plaster has fully expelled the moisture.
